Mannings Heath results and next event

August 25th saw many of the Gtour regulars and lots of news faces assemble at Mannings Heath golf course for the most southernly event on the gtour 2009 calendar.

The event saw the launch of the new Gtour live score board which despite the inevitable teething problems proved a popular distraction in the clubhouse after the event.

Congratulations goes to Shane Davies winning his second event in a row and a 4ball on the Mannings Heath Waterfall Course (a UK top 100 Course) as Shane launches his attack to knock Mathew Surgey of top spot.

With 2 events left to go, will Shane or any of our other challengers be able to take the prize away from Mathew. Perhaps one of our new comers will launch a late attack with Ian, Jim, Damir and Gregory scoring well in their first event.

2nd and 3rd place went to Ian Wilson and Jim Bishop winning Bunker Mentality Outfit and Bunker Belt, with the Longest Drive & Nearest Pin being taken by Shane Davies and Paul Carey

The next event is now nearly upon us with a large field assembling for the first Gtour Stella Trophy event at Carden Park in Chesire. This event sponsored by Bunker Mentality will be the first opportunity to win the Bunker Mentality Stella Trophy and of course all the other great prizes inc a 4 ball on any De vere course, a Golf breaks goody bag, a Bunker mentality Outfit, a Bunker Mentality Belt and a Bunker Mentality t Shirt.
