The Dunston course makes the most of its superb location. Against the backdrop of this magnificent hotel mansion, the superbly architected course takes in the estate's natural features. The undulating fairways stretch through the wooded parkland, while lakes and strategically placed bunkers are a feature on many holes.

A par 71 and 6,275 yard USGA rated course. The course offers a varied and challenging game to golfers of all standards. The natural hazards of the terrain and the strategically placed bunkers add a certain spice to the picturesque landscape.  But good shots are rewarded and a round here will be enjoyed by all standards of player.

The Par 4 16th Tee has been carved into the wooded surrounds inviting you to view the impressive course from its highest peak. A good long and straight drive will be rewarded with a medium to long iron into the slightly elevated island green. An errant drive into the trees, that line, divine and add character to this hole, will mean a careful lay up to the daunting lakes edge needs to be a well Judged shot. A precise pitch is needed if par is to be attained on this deceptively fast and slopping green.

Player feedback

A few very nice holes on the back 9, especially the 16th with the green situated behind the pond, making you walk over a bridge to get to it.

You dont have to get driver out on every hole and you have to put your ball in the correct position to get to some tough pin positions.
